Here are the answers to the most common questions we receive about our program and how it works.
Q: Can I eat regular food?
A: Absolutely! You will eat healthy foods that can be purchased at your regular grocery store. The hCG therapy program includes foods that are low fat and sugar content. Our handbook will make it easy for you to prepare meals from a variety of acceptable choices. Our clinic carries some unique grocery products for convenience, but you will find the approved foods for your weight loss program at your favorite grocery store.
Q: Is exercise required?
A: While exercising is important to any overall healthy lifestyle and is one of the most effective ways to get natural weight loss fast, it is not, however, required during your hCG program. We do encourage you to remain active. The activities we do promote during your diet include walking 20-30 minutes a day, light muscle toning for example, 3-5 pound weights a couple of times a week, light yoga, or light bicycling. These simple activities will help you to stay on a healthy exercise routine even after you have completed your weight loss program.
Q: Are shakes and/or meal replacements plans required?
A: No. Even though shakes and meal replacement plans may be convenient, they are not required and/or recommended for successful weight loss for the Last Diet Ever programs. We do offer our patients a variety of products that can enhance the preparation of meals while on the weight loss program, but are not a requirement. Our goal is to help you learn how to eat healthy nutritious meals so you can maintain your weight loss for a lifetime.
Q: How does the Last Diet Ever work?
A: When using the Last Diet Ever protocol, natural weight loss can occur fast. HCG injection therapy is believed to release fat stores of 2,000 to 3,500 calories per day into the bloodstream which allows you to stay on a very low calorie diet without experiencing hunger, fatigue, or weakness.
Patients routinely report half to a pound of weight loss per day during hCG therapy. The body contour is reshaped, especially the abdomen, buttocks, and hips. Abnormal fat stores are gone without sacrificing muscle mass that occurs with other types of low calorie diets. Most importantly, after the weight loss, it is believed that your metabolism has been positively affected to help maintain your new weight set point.
Q: Can age be a factor? Do younger individuals lose better than the more mature individuals?
A: No. We are finding those who are in their 50’s, 60’s and 70’s are seeing just as good results as those who are in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.
Q: What is the “Apple Day” all about?
A: Dr. Simeons manuscript advises that many times during a round there can be interruptions in one’s regular daily loss that he calls a “plateau”. Many times this will correct itself, so for psychological reasons to break up the plateau and to prevent unnecessary worry, an “Apple Day” is suggested. The “Apple Day” should only be done when the weight has stayed the same for 4 days and if no dietary error or deviation has been committed. Upon completion, the patient will continue to lose weight satisfactorily.
