Otherwise, you will never know what great results you could have received if not followed exactly as written. Dr. Simeons spent over 20 years of research on perfecting his protocol.
This program is very restrictive and we have to prepare our minds that this is only for 28 or 42 days. The hCG diet is not easy but it is simple. So if you decide to do it, do it properly, for you will learn so much about yourself and will have no doubts that the results will be permanent.
As you go you will find that many deep seated emotional issues and dependency issues come to light. I did! This will give you as it gave me an opportunity to reflect on them and make the needed changes to a better health filled life style.
One thing I learned was to listen to my body. Many times when we eat something that does not provide the needed nutritional value that our body needs, our body will tell us it did not like it. Also, I have come to terms with the new ROLE that food plays in my life. And you will too!
As you find better and different coping skills to deal with the hectic and stress-filled world that we live in, and get closer to mastering these skills in the first few weeks on the protocol — you will KNOW in your deepest being that you will never go back to being obese again. You Just Know!
BUT, when you give yourself a few days off each week, you won’t ever reach the emotional feeling that will FREE you of using food to mood-alter.
